My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? This past weekend, as many of us gathered to celebrate Jesus's redemption on the cross and our reconciliation with the Father through his resurrection, I felt broken. My heart has been overwhelmed lately. I have been asking God to tell me what to do with my future, where to go to seminary. I have also been facing a personal uphill battle that is probably one of the toughest battles I've ever experienced. I have been praying and praying, begging God to hear my cries and ask him to give me direction. And he's been silent.
